Sr. Logistics Sales Executive – Nevada/Texas (On-Site)
Objective:
Our client is looking to add a talented Senior Logistics Sales Executive to their team in either Nevada or Texas. As a Logistics Sales Executive, you will drive revenue, build relationships with new clients, maintain relationships with new clients, and exceed monthly sales quotas. The position will start out in a cradle-to-grave model and shift to a POD model once you hit $25,000 in monthly margin.
Duties:
- Drive revenue by onboarding new clients
- Build relationships with prospective clients
- Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
- Analyze the market and establish competitive advantages
- Conduct pricing, rate negotiations, and manage RFPs
- Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
- Maintain open communication with the operations team
- Start out in a “cradle-to-grave” model and transition to “POD” once $25,000 margin/mo is hit on a consistent basis
Ideal Senior Logistics Sales Executive:
- 2 + years’ experience in FTL freight brokerage is required
- Pricing and Negotiation Knowledge
- FTL Experience (Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed)
- Potential to mentor and train new hires
- Ability to problem solve, think quickly, and make educated business decisions
- Highly motivated with the ability to aggressively pursue and close business
- Superior written, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Commission or Bonus Structure:
- Our client runs a cradle-to-grave model and pay 25% commissions.
