With over 25 years of experience in staffing and recruiting across industries like engineering, manufacturing, operations, and more, Derek focuses on developing new opportunities for team members and building trusted, long-lasting relationships with clients.

 

He takes pride in becoming an industry expert and building teams from scratch multiple times throughout his career.

 

Outside of work, Derek and his wife are proud to have added three young men to Red Sox Nation while continuing their family tradition of supporting Indiana University.

With a career spanning over 25 years in logistics, Michael has held every position in non-asset-based logistics, eventually founding two successful logistics companies. Recognized with awards like "Entrepreneur of the Year" and "Outstanding Business of the Year," he launched Top Talent in 2009 to connect top-tier talent in logistics and beyond.

 

One of his proudest placements involved a top sales executive who he coached for a year before landing him the highest-fee placement in company history.

 

Outside of work, Michael enjoys restoring vintage items from the '40s to '60s and once tried his hand at stand-up comedy.

Katy began her recruiting career at a startup, focusing on laboratory professionals in biotech and pharma. After two years, she embraced a new challenge, recruiting within the logistics field with Top Talent.

 

One success story that stands out for Katy is when she worked with a Quality Manager for a challenging role. The Manager ultimately decided not to switch jobs while starting a family, but, grateful for their partnership, she recommended her Team Lead. The Team Lead went on to secure the role, earning a pay raise, a better title, and a shorter commute.
